Pans Labyrinth

A rich, complex story that leans toward the mythical, but magically achieves a simultaneous telling of two-different/yet-the-same story(/s) that treat the world as if it were both magical and not (ala Til We Have Faces, The Great Divorce). Does the ending rather the one world less potent? More imaginary? Or richer, deeper, bigger and better than the first...?
