Bleak House

Though this series was arguably a television series, the criteria of using distribution mechanisms and plot structures to seperate the cinematic sheep from the televisual goats is a misconceived and flawed one. Bleak House relishes its Dickensian strengths and flaws but also manages to be a sumptous cinematic delight (I prefered the earlier episodes with their hazy, fragmentary suggestibility, but the whole package was addicting enough to keep me up all night watching the whole series).
